Edenton, N.C.– Fybe, a broadband service provider and a subsidiary of Roanoke Cooperative, confirms its expansion of services to Edenton, North Carolina. The expansion brings fiber internet to over 4,300 homes and businesses in this community.

Each new construction includes Fiber to the Home (FTTH) technology, commonly known as fiber internet. With speeds up to 1 Gbps, this technology uses lightning-fast fiber-optic cables that transmit data at about 70% of the speed of light. The connections also minimize outages and resist electrical interference, ensuring a stable internet experience, even during severe weather.
