Director of Construction
Adam is a highly accomplished professional with a rich and diverse background in electrical distribution, GIS coordination, SCADA operations, and fiber optic network management. His journey began with a diploma from Northeast Academy in 1998, which laid the foundation for his subsequent certifications as an Electrical Distribution Line Technician in 2004 and an Outside Plant Technician in 2019. Throughout his career, he has actively pursued continuous learning and development, obtaining certifications in Mapping and ESRI, SCADA, and Ami/Grid Stream trainings.
Adam’s extensive experience at Roanoke Electric Membership Cooperation spans over 20 years, where he progressed from a Line Technician to a Journey Line Technician, and then to GIS Coordinator. In this role, he was responsible for crucial tasks such as GIS/mapping, staking jobs, and managing OMS operations during storm outages. He was also instrumental in the implementation of SCADA systems, solar field troubleshooting, and the successful execution of the AMI project.
At Roanoke Connect Holdings (FYBE), Adam has taken on increasingly challenging roles, starting as the Outside Plant (OSP) Coordinator and advancing to Manager of OSP Construction. Adam currently serves as the Director OSP Construction, overseeing a dedicated team of OSP coordinators and an OSP Engineer, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Adam’s passion lies in providing exceptional internet services to rural Eastern North Carolina, and he takes immense pride in the positive impact our work has on the community.
